Highlands International School is a Pre-K through 12th grade Christian school in La Paz, Bolivia and a member of the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS). Highlands (HIS) provides English-language education from a biblical worldview using American-style curriculum. NICS is a missionary organization with 20 schools in 15 countries around the world, including Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Brazil, Peru, Japan, China, Kenya, Ghana, Turkey, Central Asia, Bolivia, Venezuela, Malaysia, and the USA (headquarters for NorthStar Academy, the online school). The purpose of NICS is to "reach the world for Christ through international Christian education."
